In 2016 it had been 100 years since the end of the second world war and there was much focus on the event and it was also something close to the MigSolv CEO’s heart. After listening to him talk about the event in the office for quite a while I wanted to represent the sacrifice of the soldiers in an impactful and meaningful way.
The concept of Lest We Forget for MigSolv
I began my design of this piece of work by considering the idea of reflection. How we stop for a moment in time to remember those who fell so we could live the lives we live today. Having considered this I decided that I would like to represent the ghosts of the soldiers also reflecting on what they gave for our current future and ‘would they be happy’ with what they sacrificed if they had known what the future held?
